Our hospital is well-equipped to perform many surgical procedures, from spays and neuters to more complicated orthopedic, trauma/wound care and soft tissue surgeries. In addition, we are equipped for dental procedures including cleaning and tooth extractions.
Prior to surgery, each patient receives a thorough physical examination to identify any existing medical conditions that might endanger your pet's health. Because not all problems can be detected on examination, we required pre-anesthetic blood testing.
Anesthesia
We offer a wide variety of anesthetic protocols tailored to your pet's individual needs. We use state-of-the-art anesthetic machines offering isoflorane anesthesia. We also utilize pulse oximetry and EKG on all anesthetized patients as well as recording heart rate, respiration and oxygen perfusion.
In addition to the state-of-the-art machines, a veterinarian or technician is always with the patient from the beginning to end of the anesthetic procedure.
Post-op patients are closely monitored by our trained technical staff to ensure a smooth recovery.
