We are very happy to be able to offer full service boarding to our clients at The Fritz adjacent to the hospital. All pets must be current on all vaccinations. For dogs these include Rabies, Distemper, Hepatitis, Parainfluenza, and Bordetella, along with an annual stool test and Heartworm check. For cats the vaccinations required are Rabies, FVRCP, and Feline Leukemia. If your cat is strictly indoors the Leukemia vaccine may be declined.

All runs and cages are strictly indoors with central heat and air conditioning. For a small additional fee our cat "Condos" are available for multi-cat households or for young kittens that would like a little extra room to play.

Hill's Science Optimal Formula is fed to cats. Purina Veterinary Diet "EN" (to help prevent gastrointestinal problems) is fed to dogs. For pets with sensitive digestive systems and/or specific diet plans, we recommend that owners bring their own food with instructions.

Should your pet become ill during his/her stay, your pet will be treated as needed by the doctor on duty. The cost will be added to your final bill. Please have an emergency contact number so that we may reach you if necessary.

All pets that are elderly (15 years and older) and/or sick, diabetic, need special observation, or assistance walking or voiding, etc. will be kept in the hospital and charged a "special care fee".

Baths are recommended for all pets, especially dogs, due to their messy nature. Expert grooming is also available by appointment. . We do not harbor fleas in our clinic. If fleas are noticed on your pet upon entry for boarding we will dose with Capstar (an oral flea treatment-$7.00). We recommend Comfortis, Advantage, or Frontline for monthly flea control.

TO PROTECT THE SAFETY OF OUR EMPLOYEES , AGGRESSIVE OR FRACTIOUS PETS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED!
